HISTORY

Candy, cookies or other delicious home made options has been luxuries way to end a dinner or to just make the day more nicer. In decades people all over the world had some way to get a lovely sweet taste.

In Europe this been developed to bring chocolate in to nearly every house in the beginning of the 19 th century. My Grand mother started to sell chocolate on the street like prices one by one. After a few years she like others tried to wrap it up to keep it more fresh and to make the storage more easier. My father started to work with her and the had a small shop for groceries and Candies. As the years are passing by my father decided to move to Sweden and he started to work in a bigger company that mostly sold chocolate and cookies. He was always thinking about the way his mother sold the chocolate one by one inside the wrapper.

Nearly 30 years later he started his own company again and decided to buy and sell candies from whole Europe. The pick and mix was not only chocolate now the pieces started to be colorful and had different taste. Small shops sold them one by one just that much so everyone can buy them. However this was a good way to start up but there was some problem with the delivery so it took a lot of hours at that time to get to every shops. He tried to contact the grocery stores because they had a good transportation line in the country and a good knowledge to keep the best quality.

So in 1985 the Swedish Agency decided to allow the grocery store to sell pick and mix in boxes for self service.

That’s were we are today up to 500 different Candies can be bought in bigger Candies-shops and in the Grocery up to 50-100 different kinds and in smaller shops down to 16-32 depends on the space. To give the customers a really good experience with good overview and the best quality. The Candies is sold on plastic containers and the customers can picked by them self using small shovel and they can put it in the Candy paper bags and scale it if they want.

Until now it’s the Still the same practices in Europe and now we like to make The History in Philippines.
